Technical support specialist
A highly qualified professional with demonstrated experience in technical support in IT and telecommunications. As part of the technical support team, the candidate will be responsible for tailoring the appropriate technical solution to client needs (presale), support account managers throughout the installation process as well as ongoing technical issues.

Qualifications and requirements
- Minimum of 4 years experience in supporting IT and telecommunications
- Expert knowledge of emerging technologies
- Solid knowledge of networking / routing and protocols in a distributed computing environment
- Solid knowledge of PBXs, cellular devices and data lines
- Strong oral and written communication skills, an ability to present and
- discuss technical, functional and managerial information clearly and concisely
- Service oriented, strong ability to interact with customers, staff, senior management, vendors and contractors
- Strong ability to resolve network, computer, and user-related issues
- Solid knowledge of packet information analyzer tools
- Solid knowledge of the following protocols: TCP/IP, H323, SIP
- Solid knowledge of voice over IP concepts, routing
- Basic Knowledge of security concepts
- Self starter, ability to learn independently - new architectures, concepts, protocols and hardware devices
- Perform a needs assessment to identify required solutions
- Ability to work under pressure
